Planning Your Lunch

BROWN BAG TECHNICAL —This is a very informal intellectual session where employees bring pertinent ideas to discuss. This can either be a bring your own lunch type or the host can order pizza or a quick selection from a local deli. It is a think-tank held more in the atmosphere of a picnic lunch and can be held outside or inside at a select location. Note: The workshops, which include lunch, are frequently made available through an educational grant for your business .

LUNCH AND LEARN—This is usually held at a restaurant, utilizing a quiet meeting room away from the bustle of the mid-day crowd. The host normally provides a select entrée for speed and convenience Example: Chicken or Steak salad and drinks. The program begins at five after the hour and runs 60 to 90 minutes with a period for question and answer.

LUNCH AND LEARN CAFÉ—This workshop is the same as the regular Lunch and Learn, but held over several days. A café is a continuing series of Lunch and Learns to cover multiple topics. The meetings can all be held in one week or once a week, or once a month for the duration.
